Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants met personally to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Former two time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, consistently making huge earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually going ahead.
